IV Therapy
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins or other nutrients directly into a vein. At NCFM, IV therapy is offered only after a provider evaluation, and infusions are given by our nursing team in our infusion lounge.
Is IV therapy right for me?
Your provider reviews your history, current medications and lab results before recommending any infusion. IV therapy is not right for everyone, and some people need lab work, such as kidney function, first.
Infusions we may offer
- Hydration IVs
- Nutritional IVs
- Glutathione
- Chelation therapy (see Chelation Therapy)
- Ozone therapy
More details to come.
Possible risks
- Bruising, pain, swelling or infection where the needle goes in
- Vein irritation, or fluid leaking into surrounding tissue
- Lightheadedness or allergic reactions, which are rare but possible
- Your provider will explain the risks of any specific infusion before you start.

Therapies are offered after provider evaluation. Suitability and individual results vary. This information is educational and is not a substitute for advice from your physician.
