We are monitoring recommendations from the CDC and Florida Department of Health closely and are committed to implementing practices and procedures to keep our patients, staff and community safe.

For the health and safety of all patients and staff, especially high-risk patients, our office is taking strict measures to decrease foot traffic in the office and as a result are transitioning all non-essential appointments to phone consultations and will only allow a small number of patients receiving active-treatment for a life-threatening illness to enter the office.

We do not have coronavirus tests or the ability to diagnose patients, if you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath and cough, please contact your primary care physician or urgent care facility immediately (call ahead).

We take the following instructions very seriously and kindly ask that you respect them for the health and safety of all involved.

With severe restrictions surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the flu, for those who receive active, routine treatments DO NOT come into the office if you:

  • have traveled outside of Southwest Florida (including cruises) OR have had exposure to someone who has
  • have been exposed to a person or location that has tested positive for the coronavirus
  • have personally experienced any viral symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, headache or runny nose

If you have an appointment, please call us at (239) 649-7400 to reschedule.

In following CDC recommendations to eliminate all non-essential office visits, our office will be accessible to staff and patients with active, routine treatments only. Any patient, including new patients, that are not receiving active, routine treatment such as IV-therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, etc., will be offered the ability to consult with their physician by phone or schedule their appointment for a later date when in-person consultations are available.

This policy is in place to maintain the most sterile and safe environment possible for the protection of all patients and staff but especially for patients who are receiving treatment related to a life-threatening illness and as a result have a compromised immune system and are considered a high-risk for infection.

If you are unsure if your treatment qualifies, please call us prior to your appointment at (239) 649-7400.

Medication, vitamin and supplement pickup at our reception desk is strictly prohibited at this time to minimize non-essential office traffic. We recognize and support the adherence to your consistent medication, vitamin and supplement regiment and are committed to supplying them to you through methods that minimize office interaction by offering:

We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and have implemented additional steps throughout the property to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Our health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to cleaning procedures.

Hand washing, appropriate hydration, adequate nutrition, exercise and rest are the gold-standard to preventing infection. Our staff recognizes the interaction between our mind, nervous system and the immune system and the harm to our health that fear, worry and anxiety can cause. In addition to practicing social distancing and hygiene best-practices, we encourage you to practice coping mechanisms like mindfulness, calming breathing techniques, and hope that you take the time to be in safe, open-air, natural settings.
